As ESS’ Director of Strategic Development, Robert leads efforts to define and develop the company’s aftermarket strategy, while also extending his passion for innovation to priorities across the company – including broadening adoption of our lifesaving H.E.L.P. solution among automakers and commercial delivery vehicles. Robert is always thinking about how to do things better, faster and more efficiently. A career engineer who’s worked on intricate, multifaceted projects around the globe, he has a great appreciation and understanding for problem-solving and leveraging data to inform insights. Robert has focused on the energy and transportation business for 40+ years. Prior to ESS, he worked for Shell Oil Company in a range of roles from project engineering, Operations, Research, and Major Projects Management. In 1998, Robert started his own business to help foster innovation across the energy industry. Since then, he’s worked with clients around the globe to improve their designs, strategies and intellectual property portfolios.
