Ramon Rodriguez has served on the ESS Board since its founding in 2018, bringing decades of executive leadership and entrepreneurial success across accounting, aerospace, defense, and environmental services. He was named Chairman of the Board on November 3, 2025.A proud Cuban-American and veteran business leader, Rodriguez helped found Republic Services, now a Fortune 300 waste and environmental services company, and co-founded DME Corporation, an aerospace and defense firm later acquired by Astronics. He has also led several major professional organizations, including serving as president of the Florida Institute of CPAs, chair of the Florida Board of Accountancy, and Audit Committee Chair for PBS. Rodriguez holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University, is a licensed CPA, and a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program.
