John Adami

John Adami, P.E., is the Director of OEM/Fleet Business Development for Emergency Safety Solutions, with emphasis on the North American Commercial Vehicle Sector. In addition to working directly with North American heavy-duty on-highway OEM’s, John interfaces with a wide-range of Tier 1 suppliers and major fleets. John brings over 40 years of experience in the heavy-duty truck industry, having held a variety of technical, commercial, and leadership roles with key Tier-1 suppliers. Over the years, John has also helped lead several industry organizations, including SAE, MEMA, and TMC, the Technology Council of the American Trucking Association. In 2011 John co-founded Northwest Heavy Duty Inc., a leading rep agency that specializes in helping both emerging and established suppliers effectively engage with PACCAR, Daimler Truck, Volvo Truck and International, as they collaborate on solutions that make trucks safer, cleaner, and more efficient. John earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Washington.
